Bishop Michael Campbell

Bishop Michael Campbell came to school to hand out commerative coins to each child celebrating the visit of Pope Benedict XVI in September. He shared with us his meeting the Pope and having lunch with him.

Harvest Boxes

There was a wonderful collection of boxes and we delivered 100 boxes. We have received many thank you cards expessing delight at the gifts and that the child have thought about them and will continue to remember them in their prayers.

Harvest Assembly

Harvest Assembly was held in the Cathedral and was well attended by parents. The children in year 6 then delivered parcels to the housebound of the parish and elderly residents in the local community.

Zoo Animals visit Clitherow Class

Zoo Lab came to visit Clitherow class one afternoon to show them animals that live in the Rainforest. The children had the opportunity to hold some of the animals.

There were schools from all over the Diocese of Lancaster.

The Big Assembly

Four children from year 6 were very lucky to go to the Big Assembly to see Pope Benedict XVI. It was a marvellous occassion and I am sure they will remember the day for years to come.

The Cathedral Dog

James took the dog to Sweden where he went shopping and visited places of interest.

The Cathedral Mouse and Dog.

The Cathedral Mouse went travelling with Elena to Tenerefe. He went to the beach, built sandcastles and had a wonderful time.
