Budding Chef's in Year 6

The children and staff light a candle to remind them of the candle they received which was lit from the Pascal Candle when they were baptised.

Parents are invited to make the sign of the cross on the childrens forehead as they did on the day they were baptised.

Baptism Assembly

We celebrate the anniversary of the children's and staff's baptism every month when they became members of Gods Christian Family. The statue of Our Lady reminds us that Mary was the mother of Jesus.

There are four houses in school, St David's, St Andrew's, St Patrick's and St George. The House Captains are responsible for leading their houses in sporting and social events.

There are twelve buddies in year 6 who are responsible for the younger children in Arrowsmith, Clitherow and Barlow. They are invaluable at the beginning of the day and at break and lunchtimes.

Appointmentof Head Boy and Head Girl

The children in year 6 voted for the Head Boy and Head Girl with their deputies at the beginning of the new term in September. Canon Stephen and Father Andrew came into Assembly on Tuesday 16th September to present them with their badges of office. They will have a busy year representing the school in a number of areas.

The children worked with local artist Chas Jacobs to produce this mural of the school and the surrounding area. These have been made into cards which are on sale at 50p each.
