Chocolate Santas


The children had great fun decorating chocolate Santas, Reindeers and Snowmen.

Barlow Advent Assembly


During the season of Advent each class in Key Stage 1 and Reception presented an Assembly on the theme of Advent. Barlow Class did the third week of Advent when the pink canle depicting joy is lit. The children and Mr Walton had worked very hard putting a video together, learning plain chant.prayer icons. Clitherow Class did the Annunciation and Arrowsmith intorduced the Advent Wreath.

Friendship Assembly


The children have been working on all the different aspects of friendship for the past half term. They came together to share their ideas with their peers and parents at assembly. There were pictures.poems and role play depicting the different aspects of friendship.

Year 6 Open the CO-OP Store in Lancaster


The children were invited by the new C0-OP Store in Lancaster to perform the opening ceremony and cut the ribbon. The children have been invited to carry out a number of activities in the store related to Fair Trade. Each of the children were given a goody bag and there was also one for Miss Goddard the Headteacher who accompanied them. The school received a generous donation of £200 from the CO-OP to school funds.

Pupils Parliament


Two children from Year 5 attended a day at Lancaster House with children from other schools. They looked at and discussed their local areas and what they would like to see change.

Science Workshop


A theatre company came into school and performed a play and workshop on Science.

Shelter Building


Year 6 have been building shelters as part of their Design and Technology work.
